Who works at the National Urban League?
The National Urban League employs over 100 professionals dedicated to community service and non-profit management. This unique mix of individuals work together to execute conferences, research, and reports to provide services and funding to communities across the nation. Urban League staff complete these tasks in 8 major departments: Affiliate Services, Development, Finance, Marketing & Communications, Programs, Strategy & Innovations, and Talent Management.

Project Lead is the Urban League's talent development initiative. The goal of the project is to develop key Urban League professionals and build a pipeline of leaders for the future.

Talent Management at the National Urban League connects to many aspects of the organization. Through teamwork, the Talent Management Department aims to provide quality service in employment, learning, development, employee relations, benefits, and performance evaluations to support staff in providing excellent service within the organization, to our affiliates and the community.

What is the Urban Youth Empowerment Program?
Funded by the United States Department of Labor, the Urban Youth Empowerment Program (UYEP) engages at-risk and adjudicated youth for entry into the workforce through a comprehensive set of services, including:
- Case management
- Restorative justice
- Education
- Mentoring
- Internships
- On-the-job training

What is the Urban Seniors Jobs Program (formerly known as the Mature Workers Program)?
Authorized by the Older Americans Act, the Urban Seniors Program (USJP) is a workforce development program that provides subsidized, service-based training for low-income, unemployed persons 55 or older.

Nationally, more than 40 percent of those released from prison go back there within three years. The number in Nevada is just over 22 percent.
