NEW YORK (July 21, 2011) – In a meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office at the White House at 2 p.m. today, National Urban League President Marc H. Morial urged support for the Urban Jobs Act and other measures in the League's 12-Point Plan for Job Creation, and cautioned against deep budget cuts that could deepen the unemployment crisis.
Morial was joined in the meeting by NAACP President Benjamin Jealous.

What is the BEEP Student Leadership Institute?

BEEP's roster includes business executives, as well as highly trained technical and creative persons. Equipped with hands-on experience, Visiting Professors provide students with the practical experience they need to complement their academic courses.
Well over 2,000 professionals have participated in BEEP to date. The program has gained the cooperation of more than 1,000 corporations, government agencies and professional organizations.

The National Urban League Career Fair is an annual event that brings employers and job-seekers together. This three-day event is held in conjunction with the National Urban League Annual Conference. The Career Fair features: direct recruitment, on-site interviewing, and professional development workshops on a variety of topics.
What is the National Urban League Summer Internship Program?
The National Urban League Summer Internship Program provides an insight into the world of non-profit management for college students. Internship will be based in the headquarters office in New York City and in the Washington Bureau office in Washington, DC. The National Urban League is looking for candidates interested in a career in the not-for-profit sector, or in understanding the connection between non-profits, corporations, and government in the work of our nation. This internship is open to undergrads only.
This is a nine week paid program (June 11 – August 9, 2018).
