Brenda Nelson, President of “Stitch Me Apparel”, is a branding company specializing in custom branded apparel and promotional items. They service schools, businesses, organizations and individuals. They have over 20 schools that they service, in addition to working with a national shoe brand, the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Botanic Garden, McCormick Place, Luster’s Product, University of Illinois, and many more.
Ms. Nelson has many accomplishments. She was the winner of Arise Entrepreneur program, and she was a Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business graduate. She participated in the Chicago Urban League’s nextStep and nextDeal program. Ms. Nelson stated that, “The Chicago Urban League gave me the opportunity to receive personalized and peer consulting. The resources provided have been instrumental in helping me grow my business.”
Stitch Me will continue to grow and refine their business plan for growth and opportunities. This year they are targeting the Federal Government. They want to impact the community through job creation and community service.
