About AETNA Voices of Health
Aetna Voices of Health is part of Aetna’s ongoing commemoration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This national competition recognizes agencies that are working in their communities to encourage racial and ethnic equality in health care. We are honoring local heroes who embody the values of Dr. King and are aligned with Aetna’s mission to promote access to health care for all.
Members of the Aetna Community Relations and Urban Marketing team evaluated hundreds of organizations across the country. They named 35 organizations “Aetna Voices of Health.” These organizations received a $1,000 prize and are now in competition to be one of the top three nationwide winners.
We will award the top three organizations:
- 1st place $25,000
- 2nd place $15,000
- 3rd place $10,000
The winners will be determined by public votes. Find out more about the Aetna Voices for Health local winners and vote for your choice to receive national recognition. Voting began on the day of the National Memorial dedication – August 28 – and will close on October 8.
