Queen’s Couture Extensions is Open for Business
Jasmeka Boyd has always been passionate of becoming an entrepreneur. Jasmeka has always believed that every woman’s hair is her pride and glory, and in many ways it is attached to her femininity, and at times her self-esteem. For years, Jasmeka would find herself in between styles and would have to continuously purchase hair, due to the fact that it could no longer be used after the first installment, or the quality of the hair no longer held up to its originality. For the past several years, Jasmeka has 
experimented and experienced different extensions, whether it be Remy Human Hair; available in the local beauty supply stores, or 100% Virgin Human Hair; from various vendors, and grew frustrated with the misleading information or the performance of the product.
In 2012, Jasmeka Boyd began buying hair extensions wholesale from various vendors, until she found the product she was looking for. She worked hard making sales out of the trunk of her car for years. She marketed to beauty salon shops in different parts of Chicago and Indiana, and passing out flyers at night at clubs and malls. She attended The Chicago Urban League NextStep business program, where she received three certificates, and leasing space assistance to fund her storefront.
On June 5, 2016, Jasmeka launched, “Queen’s Couture Extensions”, located on 636 W. 47th St, Chicago IL, 60609. Ms. Boyd is dedicated to consistently providing excellent quality of 100% human weave hair extensions, wigs, lace frontal and closures. Her future plan is to provide a full service hair replacement salon that will respectfully service all women of any race or age with skilled beauticians and makeup artists, while offering a feminine and professional atmosphere all at an affordable price. Queen’s Couture Extensions salon team will be there to install, color, and cut to your desired style, to get a Queen Ready!
