Linda Taylor is Housing Director for the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS where she started as a Housing Counselor, and now she directs the ULMS Housing Department which includes six Housing Specialists who coordinate counseling in the areas of: Faith Based Financial Education, Mortgage Default which includes modifications, Budget Development, Credit Enhancement, Pre-Purchase Education, Rental Assistance, Transitional Housing, Reverse Mortgage and Expunging Criminal Records. She and the ULMS staff assisted over 2,000 new neighbors and the Department received over $300K to assist families facing foreclosure.Taylor has an extensive background in real estate. She managed of a 27-person real estate office where she trained agents, packaged loans and conducted First-Time Homebuyer Classes. She is an advocate of life-long learning and completed various training programs in real estate coaching and counseling. She taught reverse mortgage courses at the University of Washington and throughout the United States.
