New Report Exposes Financial Needs and Challenges of Low-Income Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders
The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (CAPACD), a close partner of the National Urban League, has recently released an important new report, Scrimping + Saving, that sheds light on the true financial vulnerability of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) – the fastest growing racial/ethnic group in the country. It highlights how age, ethnicity, language and other variables influence this population’s access to financial information, services and products and offers creative solutions to address the problems. The report comes as a follow up to Banking in Color, a joint study and report by the National Urban League, National CAPACD, and the National Council of La Raza from spring 2014.To view/download the reports, please see below:
