WHAT’S AT STAKE IN THE 2012 ELECTION – EDUCATION
Today, over half of the fastest growing careers in America require that the worker hold a college degree. At more than 33.5 million, the number of jobs available is quite large. Yet only 13.7 million workers between the ages of 25-34 have the college degree that is required. At 19.8 million, the difference between the two numbers is larger than the total of every man, woman, and child in the states of Ohio and Virginia combined, and still growing.
