SANFORD, Florida (March 26, 2012) -- Justice for Trayvon Martin is necessary to restore faith in the nation's criminal justice system, said National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial, who addressed a crowd of 75,000 gathered to rally in Trayvon's name today.

Justice Demanded in the Death of Trayvon Martin

Being a young black man has been called the hardest job in America.  Young black men are much more likely than white men to be jobless, in jail and labelled “suspicious,” sometimes with deadly consequences.  Such was the case on February 26th, when 17-year-old high school student, Trayvon Martin, was shot and killed by a white neighborhood-watch vigilante in Sanford, Florida.
