Chanelle Hardy is the Senior Vice President for Policy for the National Urban League and Executive Director of the National Urban League Policy Institute, with primary responsibility for developing the League’s policy, research and advocacy agenda and expanding its impact and influence inside the beltway. She serves as editor-in-chief of the NULPI signature publication, “The State of Black America,” and coordinates the NUL Legislative Policy Conference.

Cara McKinley serves as the Senior Director of Operations and Chief of Staff for the National Urban League Policy Institute, with primary responsibility for directing and implementing the operations and programming of the National Urban League's Policy Institute, including the Annual Legislative Policy Conference and logistics related to publication of the State of Black America.

Suzanne M. Bergeron, Legislative Director, Workforce, Civil Rights & Social Services
Suzanne M. Bergeron serves as the Senior Legislative Director of Workforce, Civil Rights and Social Services at the National Urban League Policy Institute, where she promotes the National Urban League’s legislative agenda pertaining to workforce, civil rights and social services issues. Ms. Bergeron also coordinates with and provides technical assistance to affiliates in the Urban League Movement.
Valerie Rawlston Wilson, Vice President, Research
Dr. Valerie Rawlston Wilson is an economist and Vice President of Research at the National Urban League Policy Institute in Washington, DC where she chairs the National Urban League’s Research Council and is responsible for planning and directing the Policy Institute’s Research Agenda. She is also a member of the National Urban League President’s Council of Economic Advisors, which assists the League in shaping national economic policy. Under her direction, the Policy Institute recently launched State of Urban Jobs, a component of Iamempowered.com, that features the Institute’s esteemed research and policy analysis and serves as a vehicle for communicating the latest information related to African-American and urban employment issues.
