What is the Urban Re-Entry Jobs Program?
Funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, the Urban Re-Entry Jobs Program is an adult prisoner re-entry program that targets adult returning citizens who are in work release programs.
URJP Services
URJP offers workforce development and training services to previously incarcerated individuals so that they can successfully re-enter the labor market. Our program facilitates a career pathway committee and takes a “skills-based” training approach tailored to the needs of employers and clients, supporting individuals through the attainment of industry-recognized credentials, graduate equivalency diploma and the pursuit of higher education.

Our Impact
Launched in June 2015, the UJRP program is expected to provide employment & training services to a total of 200 ex-offenders by September 30, 2017.
