“Active & Healthy” is the theme for National Minority Health Month 2019, which begins Monday.

Physical activity promotes health and reduces the risk of chronic diseases and other conditions that are more common or severe among racial and ethnic minority groups. These include heart diseases, stroke, cancer, asthma, and diabetes.
