With the #OneNationOneFlag campaign, the National Urban League and its South Carolina affiliates support South Carolina legislators¹ efforts to end public displays of the Confederate flag, and promote unity around the United States flag.
We support South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley's call to remove the Confederate flag from Capitol and state grounds, and urge lawmakers to heed her call and vote to remove the flag. We must continue to apply pressure until South Carolina and all other states follow suit in denouncing this longstanding symbol of racial hostility.
